Writing to his alma mater on the 25th anniversary of his graduation, O.C. White Jr. states, “To my classmates, I can think of no better wish than that their domestic life may be as rich in happiness and contentment as mine” and that his business has been “reasonably successful.” As a sideline passion, he says “I have been deeply interested in the science of wireless telegraphy for some fifteen years past. My experiments and efforts in that line have, I fear, been more of a draft on my finances than a contribution to science. Be that as it may, I have thoroughly enjoyed the study and work involved.”
