Similar to a trinocular microscope, a digital microscope system allows users to take photos and videos of magnified objects. Unlike a traditional microscope, however, our digital systems have an unlimited working distance. Instead of slipping a thin, glass slide underneath the lens, users inspect objects of any size or complexity, viewing them from any angle. With images viewed on a computer screen, users no longer need to lean over a microscope. This greatly improves ergonomics. Built-in software enables calibration, measurement, labeling, and cropping. Being able to compare current images with those taken previously allows operators work more efficiently and reliably.
